Jewellery - Seraphinite

Also known as Clinochore, Seraphinite originates in Siberia, and is a deep green colour, with silvery inclusions of mica that exhibit a silky chatoyance similar to Tiger’s Eye. These feathery patterns, reminiscent of angels’ wings, give the stone its common name (from ‘seraphim’, the first order of angels), and it is also said to assist in contacting the angelic realm.

Although Seraphinite is still a relatively unknown stone, it is becoming increasingly popular amongst Crystal Healers for its general nurturing capabilities, and as an exceptional healing stone. Some go so far as to call it the master healer of this age, and attribute miraculous regenerative properties to it. When held, it is said to help cleanse the mind of everyday chaos and clear the way to open channels of communication and healing energy. Seraphinite is also considered to be a great aid in helping its wearer to develop compassion.
