Jewellery - Opalite

'Opalite' is not a form of true opal, nor is it a naturally occurring gemstone in its own right. Instead, it's a manmade glass designed to mimic the appearance of opal or moonstone, predominantly clear, but with a blue-white iridescence that simulates the natural chatoyance of some gemstones. This material is not molded, however, but is cut and polished in the same manner as other gemstones, to give a smooth, clean finish.

No jewellery using Opalite is currently available.
