Jewellery - Autumn Rose Jasper

Jasper comes in many combinations of colours and patterns but Autumn Jasper, sometimes known as May Flower Jasper, is characterised by flecks of orange-red and olive green against a creamy-grey matrix. This is an intensely protective stone that offers a slow, steady energy to its wearer, and is therefore said to be an especially good aid to recuperation.

A grounding stone, it is said to ease the process of change by encouraging its wearer to focus on the positive aspects of transformation and renewal, rather than the negative aspects of loss. Legend has it that jasper could protect its wearer from snake and spider bites, and Native Americans traditionally used the stone in rain-making ceremonies.
