Fluorite

Also known as Fluorspar, Fluorite gives its name to the word fluorescence as this mineral shines under ultraviolet light; it is, however, quite soft and can scratch if not cared for. Fluorite ranges from purple to green, and forms unusual cube-shaped crystals in its natural form.
Known as the stone of discernment, Fluorite is said to heighten intuition while maintaining objectivity, and thus helps its wearer to see beyond illusion to the real truth of a matter (even if that truth is less attractive). Fluorite is also said to strengthen its wearer's concentration and decision-making skills. In addition, Fluorite particularly enhances the attributes of other stones worn alongside it.
