March's Featured Gemstone: Kyanite

Characterised by layers of a fine, needle-like pattern, Kyanite typically comes in light blue or black, and sometimes both. Crystal healers claim this stone is one of the few that never requires cleansing as it does not retain negativity and in fact actively dispels it. This property makes Kyanite a very restful stone to wear, and it is considered particularly useful in soothing away anger and frustration.

Its tranquil and serene nature is said to be most beneficial in helping its wearer to use visualisation to turn thoughts and wishes into reality. Kyanite is also said to act as an energy conduit, drawing positive energy toward itself to help 'recharge' its wearer.
